Chris O’Hara of Denver, PA has spent the last 20 years involved in all aspects of the consumer outdoor show business, including work as a seminar speaker, exhibitor, sponsor/exhibitor and Show Director. O’Hara’s experience as a promoter first came in the late ‘90’s as the owner of his own start-up company – Big Game Productions. Later, after many years as a marketing director for Kinsey’s Outdoors and Bass Pro Shops, where he was an exhibitor and sponsor of many outdoor shows in the Northeastern US, O’Hara was given an opportunity with Reed Exhibitions to become the Show Director of the largest consumer outdoor show in the world – the Eastern Sports & Outdoors Show. And subsequently worked on the NRA’s Great American Outdoor Show in Harrisburg, PA. After 12 years of managing the “Harrisburg Show”, O’Hara left the NRA in 2018 to join Bonnier Corporation – Bonnier Events, to run the Outdoor Life/Field & Stream Expos, formerly the Deer & Turley Expos. O’Hara is also an avid hunter who spends his time hunting wild turkey, whitetail deer and predators throughout the US.
